Privacy notice

Current version

GameMarksHub is an independent gaming resource directory and personal bookmark organizer. This notice describes the features available in the current version. Account sign-in is being introduced for testing, The site does not yet offer paid plans, payment processing, general cloud sync, or in-site analytics. Cloud sync is available to a small number of approved test accounts. We will update this notice as those features or our data practices change.

Cloud sync testing

If cloud sync is enabled for your test account and you choose to activate it, GameMarksHub stores your selected games, bookmarks, bookmark titles, web addresses, notes, categories, groups, display theme, and sync timestamps in Supabase. The first sync merges the browser and cloud copies and removes exact duplicates. A downloaded backup is required before activation. Database access rules restrict each signed-in user to their own data, and accounts without an administrator-granted sync entitlement cannot access the sync tables.

Account information

If you create an account, Supabase processes the sign-in information needed to authenticate you, such as your email address, account ID, sign-in provider, and session information. Google, Discord, or Apple also processes information when you choose its sign-in option. You can connect more than one sign-in method to the same account and remove your account from Account settings. Account deletion removes the Supabase sign-in account and associated server-side account data. Creating an account does not automatically upload your games or bookmarks. Those remain in this browser unless GameMarksHub separately enables sync for your account and the sync feature is activated.

Information saved in your browser

The site saves your selected games, personal bookmarks (including titles, web addresses, notes, and section choices), and display theme in this browser’s local storage. This information stays in the browser profile you used. It is uploaded only after an approved test account activates cloud sync. It is not shared with other visitors.

Clearing this site’s browser data can delete the saved information. You can export it as a JSON backup and later import that file in a browser. The site does not receive or store the exported file; keep it somewhere secure yourself.

Requests and feedback by email

When you submit the request and feedback form, GameMarksHub sends the message and any optional reply email address through a Supabase Edge Function and SMTP2GO to our Microsoft 365 mailbox. We use submissions to respond and improve the site. The website does not save a database copy, but Supabase, SMTP2GO, and Microsoft 365 process the message to transmit and deliver it. Please do not include passwords or other sensitive information. See the SMTP2GO Privacy Policy and Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Site delivery and analytics

Cloudflare Pages and the Cloudflare network host, deliver, and help protect this site. When you visit, Cloudflare may process technical connection and request information, such as your IP address, traffic routing data, and browser or system details, to provide and secure these services. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. The current version does not include Cloudflare Web Analytics or other analytics or advertising trackers. We will update this notice before adding analytics or changing how visitor information is handled.

Account and feedback forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish people from automated abuse. When the security check loads, Cloudflare may process technical information about your browser, device, network, and interaction with the check. This helps protect account creation, sign-in, password recovery, and feedback delivery from spam and automated attacks.

Links to other websites

GameMarksHub links to game publishers, community sites, and other independent services. When you follow an external link, that site’s own privacy practices apply. We do not control its content or how it handles your information.
